Dedicated to introducing the Women of New Mexico to the wonders of a method of childbirth that is as new as tomorrow and as old as ancient times.

Hypnobirthing® - The Mongan Method, is a unique method of relaxed, natural childbirth education, enhanced by hypnosis techniques, providing the missing link, that allows women to use their natural instincts to bring about a safer, easier, more comfortable birthing in a way that most mirrors nature.  We emphasize how self-hypnosis benefits both mother and baby throughout pregnancy and birth.

Joleen Streit, Jean Stouffer, and Debbie Wallom were trained and certified by Marie Mongan, the founder of HypnoBirthing and director of the HypnoBirthing Institute, and have been teaching women this wonderful technique for over 7 years.  Each brings with her a background in hypnosis, a comprehensive knowledge about birth, and a desire to help women have a more calm, gentle and relaxed birth.

We focus on teaching the pregnant mom how to deeply relax and connect with her baby.  During this deep relaxation the body is able to do what it knows how to do....comfortably birth her baby.

Although we teach independently, we have joined together to better spread the word about HypnoBirthing.  Please attend one of our "Introduction to HypnoBirthing" presentations at Babies R Us (I-40 and Eubank) or the Albuquerque Birth Network Workshops (123 Wellsley SE).  They are FREE and very informative.

We believe that every woman has within her the power to call upon her natural instincts

to bring about the best possible birthing for her baby and herself!!!
